SF Bay Area & San Diego locals, you're in luck!

Even if you don't have a college degree, you can get paid to learn and work for Intuit! AnitaB.org, Intuit & Treehouse have teamed up to create this amazing opportunity. This is an apprenticeship program that provides foundational education and training to prepare you for a full time 5 month apprenticeship at Intuit!

[CLOSED] The application window closes soon on July 28th so click below to apply now!

Who is this program for?

As always, the resources I share at Gigi's Tech Cafe, will primarily be geared towards women/women of color and non traditional backgrounds pursuing tech careers. This particular program has the following specific eligibility guidelines:

From their website :

The AnitaB.org Apprenticeship Pathway Program (APP) increases the representation of Black, Latino, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, women, and nonbinary people in the tech industry.

Apprentices get paid to learn during the program and, upon successful completion, can convert to a full-time software development career. This cohort is for applicants currently located in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as the Greater San Diego Area.

In addition, you are not eligible for this program if:

  • You have already obtained a traditional 2 or 4 year computer science related degree (other majors should be fine, e.g: English)

  • You are unable to commute to work in- person in Mountain View, California or San Diego at least 2-3 days per week. Seriously, the rent is insanse here so don't try to move for this program. ONLY local residents should apply.

Program Timeline

You should take your time to review all the information on their website, but the general timeline for the program is August 2024 to June 2025 with a career support phase upon completion of the program.

Applications are open till Sunday, July 28th and the application has a few steps so make sure you prepare for the interview well.
